A Golden Opportunity for India's Junior Finswimmers

The Confédération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques (CMAS) has officially announced the 2026 CMAS Asian Championship Finswimming Indoor Juniors, scheduled from 15–21 September 2026 in Hai'an, Jiangsu Province, China.

This is the highest level of international junior finswimming competition in the CMAS calendar — and India's young athletes have a chance to make their mark on the Asian stage!

Competition Categories & Events

Junior 1 (Category "B": Ages 16–17) — Men & Women

Junior 2 (Category "C" & "D": Ages 14–15) — Men & Women

Note: Junior 1 events include heats in the morning and finals in the afternoon. Junior 2 events are direct finals in the morning with medal ceremonies in the afternoon.

Important Rules for Indian Delegations

·         CMAS License Mandatory: Only athletes with a valid CMAS License are eligible to compete.

·         Entry Limits: Maximum 2 swimmers per individual event and 1 team per relay per country.

·         Relay Teams: Names and starting order must be submitted before the session starts. Changes between heats and finals are allowed.

·         Registration: All entries must be submitted exclusively through the CMAS Portal.

·         National Selection Protocols: For 400m IM, 800m SF, and 1500m SF — National Federations must send official protocols of national selection competitions to the CMAS Finswimming Commission Director at least 2 weeks before the competition.
