The Underwater Sports Association India (USAI) — India's official CMAS-affiliated national federation for finswimming and underwater sports — is proud to extend its heartfelt best wishes to Nikita Porwal, the Femina Miss India World 2024 titleholder, as she is representing India at the grand finale of Miss World 2026 in Vietnam, with the crowning moment set for 5th September 2026.

Nikita, who hails from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, has a special connection to the underwater sports community in India — one that makes this moment even more meaningful for USAI and the entire finswimming federation family across the country.

A Familiar Face at the 8th National Finswimming Championship

In 2025, Nikita Porwal graced the 8th National Finswimming Championship, held in her home city of Ujjain, as the Guest of Honour — lending her presence and support to India's competitive finswimming community at a landmark national event organised under the aegis of USAI, the country's only CMAS-affiliated national federation for underwater sports.

From the Pool Deck to the World Stage

Since her appearance at the championship, Nikita's own journey has continued to soar. As the reigning Femina Miss India World 2024, she now carries the honour of representing India at the 73rd Miss World pageant, taking place in Vietnam, with the grand finale scheduled for 5th September 2026. Competing alongside representatives from more than 130 countries, Nikita has spoken about what it means to step onto that stage carrying her nation's name rather than her own — a sentiment that resonates deeply with the same spirit of national pride that drives athletes competing under USAI's banner in international finswimming competition.
From the finswimming pool deck in Ujjain to the global stage in Vietnam, Nikita Porwal's journey is a reminder of the many different platforms on which India's talent continues to shine.

Best Wishes from the Underwater Sports Family

As Nikita prepares for the biggest moment of her pageant journey, the entire USAI family — athletes, coaches, officials, and the broader underwater sports India community — joins in wishing her the very best for the Miss World 2026 finale on 5th September. Having stood alongside India's finswimming community as a Guest of Honour in Ujjain, she now carries a piece of that same spirit representing India on a truly global platform.
Best of luck, Nikita — India is cheering for you!
