Certificate of Recognition

CMAS is the International Sport Federation and world governing body for all underwater sport disciplines and activities, recognized as such by the IOC-International Olympic Committee. CMAS is member of ARISF-Association of IOC-Recognized International Sport Federations of the IWGA-International World Games Association, both under the umbrella of the Olympic

Movement.

Members of CMAS are National Federations recognized to be the representative of the underwater movement in the country of establishment.

In respect to the above, this is to confirm that the sole CMAS affiliated National Federation for underwater sports and activities in India is the Underwater Sports Association (India). As such, the USAl is the only sport entity entitled to govern and develop the underwater movement in India, to train, select and field athletes for any of the international sport events organized by or under the aegis of CMAS, to organize or license the organization of national sport events, and to award the corresponding national titles.
